Mt. Crested Butte

About

Mt. Crested Butte is a great option for seasonal homeowners, investors looking to rent out ski condos and home owners who enjoy great ski access and lots of trail access. Mt. CB is incorporated as its own town with unique codes and policies.

A year-round free bus shuttle takes you into Downtown Crested Butte, just 3 miles away. A 2-mile recreational walking/biking path makes for a great commute as well.

Neighborhoods surrounding the mountain vary in price, views and access. The subdivisions closest to the ski area offer ski-in/ski-out access and many condos, hotels and retail shops. The Prospect Subdivision also has ski access to Goldlink and Prospect Lifts and dazzling views. Some newly built deed-restricted condos were recently created here as well. Pitchfork Subdivision has more of a neighborhood feel with many families as well as seasonal rentals, a shuttle bus stop and is at the start of the rec path. The Summit Subdivisions has approximately 35 homesites, with approximately half of the sites with newly built homes.
